Concocted from the blend of two Maplewines (Barleywines utilizing maple syrup as a major part of the fermentable sugars), these liquids rested in a blend of Old Fitzgerald barrels for 34 months before syncing with a barrel of Barleywine aged for W.L. Weller 7yr Barrels for 42 months. The resulting liquid amber sat on Comoros Vanilla Beans for a sweet snapshot of solace inspired by the frigid Northeast. Pouring a burnt mahogany, this hybrid smells of bourbon, treacle, marshmallow and oak; a precursor to the rounded tastes of toffee, maple syrup, vanilla, bourbon, and fudge that follow.
