Draught at source: near black with a beige head. Aroma is roasty, chocolate. Taste is somewhat bitter, sweetish. Fairly solid.

Draft at brewery. Translucent dark brown color. Creamy tan cap. Roasted malt nose is subdued. Flavor is sweet roasted malt. Hints of chocolate and chicory. Some hop bitterness on backend. Tasty.

Draft at the brewery, 6/8/25. Mostly clear, dark brown, tan head. Smooth, malty. Caramel and toffee. Roast. Smooth. A little sweet. Pretty good.
