Traditional stout brewed with a cornucopia of barley, wheat, and oats. Classically hopped with Eclipse T90 for a gentle bite. Roasted malt sweetness, chocolate, coffee, and dried fruits. That’s just like our opinion man

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with minimal beige head and good lacing. There’s roasted malts in the aroma alongside chocolate and raisins. In the mouth it is sweet but with a little underlying sharpness. Plenty of variety in the flavour :- roasted malts, coffee, oats, milky chocolate and dried fruit. Plus traces of gingerbread and plums coming later, leading to a slightly fruity finish. This is decent.
