Inspired by the original recipe, but with a few subtle tweaks, Rewind offers a nostalgic taste of 2015. Can from Vinomondo, Conwy. Opaque chestnut brown (dark)..Thick foamy beige head with persistent lacing. Aroma... first impressions are herbal with positively (negativity?) dark hued resin (not olfactory-visual synthesisia, I am just poethearted and have access to Google). Followed by praline and malts. Flavourwise we have similarities to the aroma, however it's no carbon copy. There is a bitter-sour mix of herbs, resin and gooseberry but it's not so intense. Sweet caramel provides balance. The flavour does stagger though. There's a washed out element wearing down the foundation: some OG veg action. Light-medium bodied. Slick starting to get stick. Soft carbonation with a lilting fizz. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent if slightly faltering.
