bottle from Darts Farm Topsham. Dark brown with a small beige head. Sweet dark malty flavours, very light-bodied with a drynesss in the background. Hints of honey.

Cask at The Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Poured dark mahogany colour with a thin tan head. The aroma took a while to develop, but eventually came through with liqourice and spicy notes. The flavour is weak bitter but very fruity with some pleasant alcohol burn on the palate. A superb Xmas brew!
