keg at the bow bar ...deep purple ...no head ..dry fruit odd berries nose ..oh sometime I get big ribena ...sharp fruit ..but again something feeling not quite right ...it's got a lot of good fruit ..but something wrong

Can from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - pinky-purple and murky. Foamy pink head like a milkshake.
Nose - earthy and spicy underneath a tangy blackcurrant main note.
Taste - blackcurrant, blackcurrant leaf, sweet spice and earthy.
Palate - close to medium bodied, tangy and lightly tart fruit through middle and finish.
Overall - good. Didn't expect to like it as much.

Can from Hops at Home. Pours deep red to people with a thick pink head. Aromas of blackcurrant and spice. Taste is sweet blackcurrant up front, some sharp spicy funk. Dry finish, but a bit thin.

New brewery ✅️.
Pours cherry Red with a lacing pinkish head. Aroma: plenty of blackcurrant, grapes and lactose. Taste: blackcurrant, yeast and sour grapes. Sour and lactic palate.
A deep purple beer with a pink head. Aroma of tart blackberries, yeast, herbs. Taste of sour blueberries, farmhouse yeast, spices.
