Freshly toasted coriander seeds are added to the grist and at the later stages of the boil, resulting in a festival of flavour and aroma. This delightful beer is a real thirst quencher, and is particularly good as an accompaniment to curry.

On cask at JDW, Sutton Coldfield - An orange body with a thick light orange head. The aroma is very flowery, with some spicy notes, and a bit citric. The flavour is sweet and again very flowery combined with hints of perfume and coriander, leading to a dry end. Not bad, but easily forgettable.

Cask at the Elm Tree, Cambridge. Fairly weak aroma, but who cares about that! The flavour is amazingly floral with a huge hoppy bitterness and some spice from the coriander. A really excellent brew and quite different to anything most people will have tasted before.

Cask @ JDW Elgin 221012
Amber, clear, dense white head, some lacing
Aroma - Coriander, citrus hops, soft orange, floral hop, peppery herbs
Taste - soft pale sweet fruity malts, bitter light zesty hop, some black pepper, soft oramge, dab of coriander initially, certainly not bland here - after a while it gets TOO herbal and peppery and rather overpowering
Palate - soft carb, thin to medium body, quite oily. Finish as main flavour, lingering fairly bitter herbs, black pepper, orange, long bitter quite complex linger, long long herbal linger, almost tingly bitter.....itโ€™s harsh but there a lot of flavour in there
Overall - Interesting beer, lot of flavour, puzzled by comments below that its bland....maybe its very inconsistent or I had an unusually strong flavoured batch. Too overpowering after a while and gets hard to drink. Rather flawed to be honest

Cask at JDW - Bishop Vesey; branded as Growler Brewery pretty sure it is the right beer, pale yellow quite watery with minimal flavour.

Amber ale with a fair bitterness in its taste and aftertaste, hopped citrus notes are evident, especially in the aroma

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Light haze on this amber beer. Residual suddy white head. Palate is slightly crisp and fairly dry. A little marmalade citrus underneath. Fairly dry finish. Somewhat strange beer. Lightly perfumed like coriander.

Cask@The Chequers, Oxford. Golden colour, creamy small white head, that leaves good lace. Aroma is fruity, malty, mild coariander and some slight spicyness. Flavour is coriander, wood, some spices, mild malts and quite nicely balanced.

Cask at the Willow Walk (JDW), Victoria. Amber with a tight cream head; floral aroma; refreshing citrus flavour with perhaps a dash of coriander; then sweet grapefruit before a dry and spicy finish. A straightforward refreshing pint.
