Cask at Birmingham Beer Fest 2012; Light orange pour, thin white head, The hop and sweetness balance is not quite right, tastes like some West Coast DIPA’s that have overdone the caramel this overwhelms the fresh citrus hop which is there but masked.

Cask at the Birmingham Beer Festival 2012. Clear yellow straw pour with a big white head. Massive hop aroma that almost knocks you off your feet. The ale was surprisingly rich and smooth on the palate. The flavour is all about the Citra, Amarillo and Chinook hops with lots of lingering dry bitterness too. The ABV is 8%, but its well controlled and doesn't burn at all. These guys at Sadlers sure know how to hop!
