Can bought at Blas ar Fwyd, Llanrwst. Clear copper gold
Thick foamy white head. Aroma is bitter. Full-on resin. A fruity edge provides some stewed fruit syrupy sweetness. Underlying malts. Flavourwise it's got a sugary sweetness which balances out the bitter resinous core. Caramelised fruit. Underlying chewy doughy malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent Westie with a sweet side. Noice.

440ml can. Clear golden, white head. Aroma is quite dank and piney, resinous, citrus. Taste of orange, grapefruit, piney resin, lemon and lime, hint of caramel malts, moderate bitterness. Medium bodied. Solid westie, wasn't sure at first but really grew on me.
