11th Hour IPA is an American India pale ale. The style is characterized by a prominent hop aroma with citrusy or resinous/piney character due to the use of American hops such as Cascade and Centennial. The appearance of 11th Hour IPA is a clear, golden color with a nice white head. This traditional American IPA has a moderate piney/citrusy hop flavor and medium-high hop bitterness that is supported by a malty backbone. This beer has a smooth, medium-bodied mouthfeel with no astringency. 11th Hour IPA is brewed with the finest quality pale ale malt with some caramel malt and Carapils added for color, flavor and mouthfeel adjustment. Centennial and Cascade hops are added to give this IPA its “pure hoppiness” quality. Original Gravity is 14.3°P and alcohol by volume value is 6.5%.

Bouteille partagée avec Markwise. Thanks Mark for the first South Dakota rate. Couleur cuivre, mousse fine beige. Arôme de malt/caramel et houblon, un peu herbeux et grains. Au palais, le ton est un peu citronné et malté laissant une fine amertume au fini avec des notes de pamplemousse.

can thanks to my wife, pours copper with a thin tan head. Aroma is toffee and cascade hops with hints of citrus. Flavor is very malt forward with toast and nuts but has an unpleasant cardboard flavor coming forward, definitely oxidized. Thin hops in the finish, wish I had a fresher can.

Thanks to JohnGalt1 for hooking me up with this SD tick. Poured from a 12oz can. Copper/amber topped with a nice head. Aroma is of citrus and floral hops along with some malty sweetness. Tast is pretty solid good hop notes along with the malt back bone. Only 2 states to go.

Big thanks to Mora2000 for helping me tick off my final state. Can. Pours with a clear penny colored body and a large off-white head. Aromas are malt forward with caramel, pine, light orange, tea and a light metallic note. Flavors are bitter with tea, orange peel, caramel and salt. Lively bubbles, medium dry. I hope to have more (and maybe better beers) in the future from South Dakota. Thanks again Bill for helping me get this state!

GABF 2007. A pale golden beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet grassy and malty combined with a funny bitter notes. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes fo fruit - especially peaches and oranges, as well as light notes of grass.
