Brewed the old-fashioned way. Lots of malt character and a striking, scalp burning bitterness. Fleshed out with a huge dry-hop charge of some classic USA hops. A range of light crystal malts for depth of colour and flavour. Loads and loads of hops in the hot side to build a bitterness of 120 IBU. Fermented warm with High Voltage and dry-hopped with Mosaic and Simcoe post-fermentation.

Tight white head left a loose growth on a dark amber coloured body.
Resinous & malt aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth with a sharp dry back.
Malt, resin, over stewed fruit, grapefruit & citrus tastes with a bitterly hopped finish.
This is an old school IPA & not particularly trendy anymore - probably not to some people's taste - but it's excellent.
