Birds & Bees is our 6.2% ABV modern interpretation of a Bière de Miel (a saison-style ale brewed with honey), inspired by one of our favorite beers of this style, with an addition of wildflower honey to the kettle, and dry hopped with Motueka from New Zealand. This beer is light, refreshing, and dry while possessing bright notes of flowers and lime. Lively, effervescent carbonation elevates the aromatics out of your glass and into your nose! A gentle mouthfeel invites the next sip.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: semi-clear yellow color with a finger's worth of white frothy head which dissipated nicely then left some slick-looking concave lace sliding with the sips
Aroma: white pepper/crushed peppercorn; hay/straw/grassy character; lemon/hibiscus/floral-ish tones then a smooth bready malt in the backbone
Flavor: dryly combines the prior noted aromas to a semi-spicy to moderately bitter quality; finishes somewhat bready and peppercorn-like with a kiss of lemon sweetness
Texture: light to medium bodied; light smoothness; slightly sessionable; good carb level/good flow along the tongue
Overall: pretty good saison I believe I could return to and I bet would be great with some grilled lobster or possibly swordfish steak.

Mild hibiscus nose. Clear yellow, thick head, decent lace. Hibiscus, honey, orange blossom, lilly. Medium body, soft carbonation. Nice balance, interesting subtleties. Floral, but decidedly not perfumey. Nicely done.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma Is a huge white pepper with some spicy and herbal notes. Flavor is more pepper with a nice herbal hop note. I did not get much honey but the spicy hops and the yeasty pepper esters were on display.
