An IPA of the Session IPA subcategory. An easy-drinking and fruity beer with a citrus flavor, both peel and juice, as well as a balanced bitterness and a slightly sweet roasted grain aroma. Session beer originated in England as a beer that was suitable for social gatherings or breaks - "sessions". The low alcohol content meant that several could be consumed during a break without getting excessively drunk.

The beer's fine bitterness goes well with Indian dishes, anything with curry, ginger and chili. Goes well with pork or a chicken that has been on the grill, preferably with lots of garlic. Otherwise, fresh spring rolls with lots of greens, fresh chili/ginger and shrimp.

Bottle 50 cl. Cloudy, opaque amber with a huge and frothy off-white head with some lacework. Biscuity nose with faint, dusty hops. Thin-bodied, massively fizzy, again a biscuity nose and absolutely no bitterness. And again a slightly tart note from the ascorbic acid. Borderline pathetic. 250525
