Auburn with a foamy head that fades away. Aroma of caramel, cherry syrup, oak. Taste is bittersweet the whole way through with a nice balance between the caramel sweetness and grainy bitterness. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. Decent enough for casual drinking.

ABV: 5.5%. [ Courtesy of æHD'er ].Clear medium amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, wood, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, wood, caramel, sweet malt, malty, dusty, light nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20191123]

bottle, díky pane doktore! Hazy deep golden colour with a red glow, very stable off-white to beige head. Aroma of vanilla and oak. Medium-bodied, malty with caramel and vanilla, oaky wood flavours in the lingering finish. Very smooth and pleasant mouthfeel. Good!

Fläschla: Hazy, deep golden with a - indeed - reddish sheen, small and stable and lacy off-white head, moderate sweetish fruity-malty nose with - indeed - traces of wood (!) and caramel; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; lingering fruity and malty finish with a balancing woody bitterness in the aftertaste. Quelle surprise! A very nice Bier from the horrible Radeberger Gruppe...
