This beer showcases some of the best local malts around, so it was a no-brainer we went with Hogarth Malt Pilsner, Vienna, & Melany Malt alongside Red Shed Malting Black Bear. The clean fermentation profile and reasonable hopping rates allow the malts to shine through. This beer allows one to truly appreciate the craftsmanship from the finest Alberta maltsters. Expect notes of toasted malt, honey, and some light floral notes.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of toasted bready malt and floral hops. Sweet flavour of toasted bready malt, honey, grass and spicy hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Malt forward and easy to put back.
