This wheat beer unites seven Utrecht-based breweries, Tomas Schröen aka De Bierverteller and U Are Here magazine in order to raise money to support the SUPPORT CASPER foundation in their fight against pancreatic cancer. The beer is (symbolically) brewed with oat malt, japanese sencha tea leaves and fresh turmeric roots - ingredients that are supposedly effective in treating cancer.

From tap at Utrechtse Bierbrouwers Festival 2017. Aroma is herbal with floral notes, a touch of ginger, elderflower, turmeric root (I suppose) and soft wheaty ale malt. Mildly sweet and bitter. with a medium body. Quite a herbal beer, the chosen ingredients work well here. Not bad.

Can at home, label has 5 years of the bierverteller on it, its past best before by a month. golden beer, small head. Aroma is malt, green tea, herbal. Taste is the same, sweet, malty, grean tea, herbal, meh its drinkable.

Tap @ Fortbrouwerij Duits & Lauret, 25 cl sample. Slight hazy golden color, short frothy head. Aroma is nutty, slight spicy and a bit flowery. Soft bitterness, bit spicy. Decent.

Draft at oproer. Golden pour. Aroma has grassy herbs, spices and citrus. Flavor of strange spices, ginger, nettle, citrus and grassy hop. Weird but nice.

Draft at Oproer @ Beer Geeks meetup. Hazy pale golden color. White-ish head. Aroma’s: malty, sweetish, light fruity. Retronasal it’s sweetish, herbal, ginger? Flavor is moderate sweet, light fruity sour, herbal. Light bodied. Herbal moderate bitter finish.
