Our first ever beer. It is called Bryg nr. 61 (brew no. 61), as it took 60 attempts before ending up with "Bryg nr. 61 - IPA". It is a fruity and hazy New England Pale Ale made primarily with Citra and Mosiac. Only very modest bitterness but high aroma of exotic fruits. Delicious for a summer day or a drink in the bar. It has now become a classic for us.

Tap. Pale golden color with white head. Aroma of orange, tangerines, zest. Taste is tropical fruity with oranges, tangerines, mango, passion fruit. Good.

Tåkete gul med hvitt skum. Sitrus og tropiske frukter. Fruktig i smak. God mild bitter avslutning.

0,2l Taster from tap at Aben Taproom, Copenhagen. Yellow murky color, small white head. Smells citric, earthy, mango, lightly acidic. Nice smell. Medium body, soft carbonation. Tastes citric, grassy, earthy, mango, light cucumber, peppery. Finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of citrus, earthy and light cucumber. It's good, but definitely too sour for a New England IPA.

Keg at the taproom, Copenhagen. First ever beer eh? Not bad. Lovely hop forward aroma. Hazy on point. Bit astringent finish that's heavy on booze and dry grass.

Draught, half pint. @Aben, Copenhagen (Denmark). 10/05/2024 [#7.275 Global - #359 Denmark - #7 Bryggeriet Åben] Pours hazy golden with a lacing white head. Aroma: pine needles, grapefruit, Citra and confectionery. Taste: plenty of pineapple and grassy hops. Next one, please!

At source: pours hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is citrus, mango... nice hazy boy smell. Taste is fairly dry, sweetish. Pleasant.

Keg at ÅBEN Brewery, Tank Bar & Restaurant, Copenhagen. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lime and tropical fruit. Taste has s hint of blackcurrant on top. Light sweet finish.
