Some caramelized malt and some light citrus. Pours golden with decent head and lacing. Light tangy finish. Some mash malt. Tap at Alaska Lodge at SEATAC.

Had this on tap 9/15 at Paradise Valley Liquors

Poured a clear deep amber with a nice thick head of foam that sharnk to a fine layer and it had some lacing.

The smell is light and delicate but there was some caramel malt.

The taste is sweetish from the caramel with a bit of citrus, mostly lemon, and it finishes slightly bitter with some graininess.

The mouthfeel is medium and the carbo is medium...it's pretty drinkable and somewhat sessionable, considering that it's only 4%abv, but doesn't stand out as very exciting.

Pours a clear copper from a bottle. Super sweet maltiness, heavy mouthfeel. Okay beer.

Can sample at Beer & Beyond. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, honey, toast, caramel, some fruitiness. Sweetish flavor, malty, toasty, with caramel and honey, a fruity note and a light bitterish note. Medium-bodied. Could use some more balancing bitterness, but quite alright.

Sampled from the bottle at the St. Paul Beer Fest. Pours a clear gold with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a light grass note with a hint of light fruit and a grain backbone. Flavor is mild with grass and grain and not much else.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Clear, deep, pinky red. Film of off white head. Fruity, toffee, light orange hop aroma. Drinks sweet, fruity, and smooth. Mouthfeel is a tad thin. Finishes toffee sweet, with some spicy dryness. Ok.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 10/21/2014. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, light nuttiness, raisin, plum, apple, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt, fruity yeast, and light earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, light nuttiness, raisin, plum, apple, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, light nuttiness, raisin, plum, apple, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of dark/bready malt, fruity yeast, and light earthy hop flavors; with great robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice altbier style. All around good balance and robustness of dark/bready malt, fruity yeast, and light earthy hop flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours a clear amber color, topped with average light tan colored head. A pleasant malty aroma, some caramel also present. The taste is slightly sweet, decent caramel and biscuity feel to it. Little bitterness in the end. Very nice.

355 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber colour with a large, frothy, long lasting, beige head that laces nicely. Sweet, smooth aroma of caramel, malt and fruit. Sweet flavour of malt with notes of caramel and a peachy orange fruit finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation.
