Golden Ale. A blonde, lighter bodied beer with a floral aroma and a crisp, hoppy finish that's not bitter. The hop character of Alaskan Pale is due to dry hopping by hand during the fermentation process.

A clean, softly malted body with a hint of citrus overtones, followed by a hop-accented dry, crisp finish.

Alaskan Pale is made from glacier-fed water and a generous blend or European and Pacific Northwest hop varieties and premium two-row pale and specialty malts. Our water originates in the 1,500 square-mile Juneau Ice Field and the more than 90 inches or rainfall we receive each year.

light orange. No head. Tangerine nose. Nice balance. I get bananas and jelly beans in taste. Pretty sweet. Maybe there’s a hint of walnuts

Poured from a 355mL bottle. Clear medium yellow with white head. Light hops aroma with light hops taste. Not very bitter if your a big hop head and not super fresh, but very smooth and does have a distinct hop taste. Nothing amazing, but very drinkable and a very refreshing finish. Quite good for a golden ale.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of boring malt, and a bit of hops, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.

Brought home a bottle from alaska from a friend who went on a cruize. Fresh. Darker than pale lager, but just barely, like yuengling. Thin pond scum head. No visible CO2. Smell is wew, medium hoppy apparent. Initial taste is dull thick mouthcoating, near IPA territory. Quite may I say for a lager lover. Soapy. Creamy soft old fish aged flavors. Heheh, it says golden ale, well, no. Even tho thats what the style is here on RB. Its really an APA;. IMHO. Not flat just barely above that. Medium bitter medicine finish hangs in there for an average or less time. No way this is a golden. If so, its a bitter golden, yew. Not yer typical Indigo Imp Blonde Bombshell Roy Pitz Best Blonde Ale Newcastle Summer Ale or Hoppy Liquid Sunshine Blonde Ale er sure.

Draught at Sidewinders Tavern, Jackson, WY. Clear golden, small head. Zesty citric grapefruit aroma. Dry with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Tangerine and lychee carries it to a rather bitter finish. A fresh, hoppy light pale ale.
