Our twist on the super quaffing beers of the black country, dedicated to the island right next to our brewery where after the war a shell head was used as a donation box for people who had lost a love one in the war, today it’s also one of the most dangerous cycle lanes you will ever see ha ha, blonde in color with a soft mouth feel, a burst of juicy fruits followed by a sweet mango finish.

Cask at the Red Lion, Amblecote. Pours pale gold with a small head. Aroma is soapy lemon and straw. Taste has straw and sherbet throughout, a bit soapy.

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeast, zesty citrus, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light bitter with a watery orange citrus, yeast, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Plenty of flavour but way too light for me.
