Opalescent dark golden to bright orange colour, huge, dense ecru-ish white head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of marmalade, tangerine, some lemony, floral honey, and fruity notes; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with some buttery and toffee notes; quite good one

33 cL bottle, courtesy of Bov. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is mild yeasty and fruity. Light roasted malt note, vague toasted and light yeasty. Lingering malty and slight yeasty finish. Lasting bitter impression.

Bottle from Allen, thanks! Blonde. Rye bread and a hint of flowers in the aroma. Grainy sweetish flavor with rye and dades. Some distant bitterness. Nutty. Interesting beer.

Small white head, fed by very fine pearly carbonation from metallic-golden beer. Sweet nose, fruity, obviously the dates, but my nose says dried figs, and a bit of oxydation, ’t would seem. More oxydized, quite sweet malts. Fruits on sugar: figs, oranges, maybe dates too. Rather light, near empty MF, slight end slickness. Remarkable. Somebody told me once that pale malts have existed for a good 150 years. Now it would appear the ancient Egyptians had already the same. Markus, where do you keep getting them?

Golden color; poor head. An unsignifican Ale (?) with just some sweet taste (a bit like molasses) and very poor aroma.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Deep golden. Fruity, raisiny aroma. Sweet and rounded, a bit sticky. More odd than interesting.
