ESB? Not quite - displays all the characteristics of an american pale ale - is it a good APA? yea, pretty much - nothinhg stand out, but it has everything in the right places - nothing to get excited about.

Paid $1.50 for a 12-oz single. Amberish with a small head. Smells of hops and bread. Lovely citrusy sweetness in the flavor, with not a lot of bitterness. Tasty & very drinkable.

The aroma is very hoppy. The color is amber and it has a small white head. The flavor is sweet and very hoppy - a nice ESB.

Pours clear copper with a thin-medium off-white/cream head. Aroma is rather light, herbal, and biscuity. The body is as described quite mineraly and the herbal, spicy and somewhat piney/bitter hops play off the water and biscuity malt quite nicely. One of the better bitters I’ve sampled.

Bottled. Clear amber with brief creamy head. Intense grapefruity hop aroma. Dry with clean, hard mouthfeel. Very hoppy and aromatic wityh lingering bitter finish. Nice aroma, but all about the hops. Too simple malt profile.

Clear orange/golden appearance with a large-bubbled dense off-white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of english hops, citrus (pineapple & lemon) and a bit of sugar. Light-bodied; Subtle english hop flavour with a decently strong malt taste. Aftertaste bittered from the hops, sweetened by the fruit, and strengthened by the malt. The lemon and citrus taste lasts for a long while, but the bitterness goes away fairly quickly. A very good american representation of the style, and definately one to pick up if you enjoy bitters! I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Chevy Chase Wines & Spirits in Washington, D.C. and sampled it on 31-August-2003.

Nice lemon-grass hop aroma, with some resiny tones. Hazy copper color with large creamy stiff head, lasts forever. Solid foamy lacing. Flavor dominated by citric and resiny hop flavors. Solid bitterness in the finish. Malt is on the low end, but not unbalanced. Mostly clean light malt flavors are present, very little in the way of caramel malt flavors.
