(Keg at CoolHead Taproom, 20250526) The beer dark brown and opaque. Looked like melted chocolate. Aroma had burnt malts, dates, figs and chocolate. Palate was full bodied and sticky with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, chocolate, dates, figs, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had sweetness, chocolate, dates and bitterness. More like a chocolate dessert than a beer.
