Few things are more refreshing than a super crisp and well-made Lager cracked and poured into a clean Pilsner glass, but at the top of that list is when a brewery wants to make a Lager for a collaboration beer. And that's just what East Brother did, teaming up with us to combine our love for European Lager like five Gotron Ferrets, forming one luminous energy sword-wielding Gogotron. Paying homage to the beer with possibly the most unfair radness-to-underbrewedness ratio around, The Dortmunder Export Lager was the obvious choice. Merging just about everything great about a German Lager, Sixth & Canal is just a little bit malty but not malty, a little bit hoppy but not hoppy, has a little bit of booze behind it but not boozy, and has an exceptional amount of balance as it delivers notes of lightly baked biscuit, hefezopf bread, citrus blossom, earthiness, and nectar fruits. While this isn't the normal collaboration one comes to expect, we are beyond pumped for it, and what it lacks in being a Hazy Double IPA, it makes up for in not being a Hazy Double IPA
