Doppelganger, brewed to help us see through the final stretch of winter, with its dark days and dreadful weather. The base takes inspiration from a classic German doppelbock, bringing a rich malty flavour to the table paired with clean yeast characteristics. Of course, a bottom fermenting strain did the work.

As the name implies though, there is a twist. The normally expected Münchener and cara- malts were joined by some roasted varieties, providing the finish of a stout.

As a finishing festive touch, some vanilla beans found their way into the kettle as well, complementing mainly the aroma.
