Brewed with craft coffee from Ethiopia, processed with anaerobic fermentation for unique blueberry, raspberry, and gummy bear notes.
We chose a barley wine because the floral and fruity coffee flavors can get lost in the bold canvas of imperial stouts.
By removing the roasted malts, the coffee shines much brighter. We added 200kg of toasted coconut to introduce oils that help carry the delicate aroma molecules from the coffee, while the slight coffee acidity pairs perfectly with the coconut.
Fermented with English yeast, adding light esters that further enhance the coffee, making this beer a perfect match for craft coffee lovers.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear deep mahogany colour, viscous, no head. Aroma of blueberries, coffee, caramel and coconut. Very sweet with full body and rounded sticky mouthfeel. Syrupy sweetness and blueberry jam is what remains. As unrefined and diabetes inducing as always from Moersleutel.

Slightly cloudy, oily, dark red brown, not really any head other than a quickly fading light tan layer. Light roasted coffe, fudge, a hint of coconut and alc in the aroma. Cococut more procounced later on. Oily mouthfeel, full bodied, chewy. Fudgy flavour, a little more coconut, very mild light coffee, warming finish. Decent sipper.

Thanks fonefan! Coppery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, coffee and mild roasted tones with some dried fruits. Flavour is toffee, coffee, fudge and some caramel with sweet vanilla and a bit of alcohol to it. Nice fudgey vanillaish sweet aftertaste.

Can. Dark copperish brown pour with a tan head. Nose is big, light roast coffee, fruity, chocolatey with a huge coconut punch. There's something in there that I dont like that much, a bit fatty/metallic perhaps, ruining the aroma a bit. Taste is coffee upfront again, turning into coconut, super intense, the salty/nutty kind, ending rather abruptly. Thick, oily bodied with soft carbonation and very short finish.
Can at home. Pours deep reddish brown, nose is caramel, fruity, vanilla, coconut, taste is sweet, creamy, coconut, fruity, hints of coffee 8=7=8/8/7
