Nopales are the edible pad of the prickly pear cactus which also bears the delicious prickly pear fruit. While we didn't use any cactus in this delicious Imperial IPA we did use, Krush, a hop of neo-mexicanus origin which is a sub species of hops from New Mexico. This beer has very complex citrus notes ranging from lime to orange and general fruity profile with some lychee and tropical fruit peeking through.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 16 Aug 2025) Cloudy yellow colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with mango, pineapple, peaches, citrus and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, lime, mango, pineapple, peaches, pine needles, white bread and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh, hoppy and juicy. Very nice.

Tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam, 31st August 2025. Pours orange and hazy. Aroma is tropical, fairly standard. Taste is reasonable, fair enough, but OH rarely excite me

On tap at Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb. Shared with Darko, thanks. Hazy orange, small off-white head. Aroma is soft citrus, grainy, bready, oats, hints of vanilla and resin. Smooth, juicy, thick, cloying and creamy. Medium body. Flavour is fruity, tropical, vanilla, bubblegum and some malts. Minimal bitterness, finishes quite sweet.

Tap at Goblet, thx to M.R. I think, or J.R., or someone, unsure. Murky yellow body, full, off-white head. Tropical fruit, white grapes and lemon in the slightly oxidized aroma. Sharp taste, tropical fruit, lychee and lemons, sweetish and lightly oxidized, but definitely still in very decent shape!
