Fairly hazy copper, orange and raw honey coloured body with a smooth two to three centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat for a long time and remains microfoamed - nice! Aroma of citrus, grass, resin, tropical fruits, flowers, a good deal of supportive malt and a touch of alcohol near the end of the nose. Medium-bodied; Nice citrus and tropical fruit notes at first with a strong sweetness and very supportive sweetness from the fruits and some good malt notes with a smooth dry and very floral finish with some light alcohol notes and a good dash of jam at the end. Aftertaste is very flavourful with the citrus and tropical fruit notes coupled with a light bitterness with more sweetness and complexity than expected, but ends very nicely. Overall, a very nice and super-balanced IPA with tons of hop notes that show more fruit, sugar and citrus notes than bitterness, all on top of a very nice and balanced malt body with a lot of depth. Great to try and sample fresh and much better than expected - VERY nice! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Krisp Market (BestDamnBeerShop) in San Diego, California on 31-January-2020 for US$3,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on the opposite end of the country on 02-April-2020.
