500 ml bottle, from SuperBrugsen Byrum, Læsø. ABV is 6.2%. Brewed with elderberries, cherries and heather flowers. Black colour, moderate beige head. Moderate aroma of roast malts, chocolate, mild coffee, dark berries and heather. Smooth flavour, the roasty notes are initially very moderate, but come through in the finish, together with some bittering hops. Moderate notes of dark berries and heather. Decent enough.

Shared bottle at Kjul Strand. Pours black with beige head. Aroma of dark bread, roasted malt, flowers; fruity, some coffee, licorice. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied. Beer tasted 3 months after the beer's bbd - still very good.

Bottle. A very close to black beer with a dense finger-thick beige head. Roasted malts, coffee, some dark dried fruits and chocolate on the nose. It's full-bodied, nicely carbonated and lightly sweet on the palate, with a suiting bitterness. Roasted malts, dark dried fruits, chocolate and coffee flavor, with a lasting finish. Sure much better than expected from the Schiøtz brand. 190427

0,5 flaske fra Kvickly Nørrebro, delt med Kitty i lejligheden nov-18: brunsort med ok skum. Blød og behagelig, med dejlige toner af (kirse)bær, honning, karamelkix og friskbrygget kaffe. Overbevisende men samtidig slank maltkrop. Let drikkelig. Kitty har nu måske en ny favorit i dessertsegmentet.
