Scotch-Style Ale Brewed with Candi Sugar and Coriander
Scotland is known for its bagpipes and its beers, and this Scotch-style ale adds Belgian Candi sugar to the mix, giving it deep notes of toffee and dried fruit accented by the spicy herbal aroma of coriander. The eleventh verse in our 12 Days of Christmas Series, 11 Pipers Piping is an extra smooth and malty, full-bodied jig of a beer.

29/XI/19 - sample @ Billies Craft Beer Festival 2019, BB: n/a - (2019-1918) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
Clear dark red brown beer. Aroma: lots of chocolate, some roasted malts, caramel, coffee. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, ripe banana, dark chocolate, bitter, malty, some coffee, caramel. Aftertaste: nice roast, alcohol, some banana fudge. Nice one, although because of the word pipers I thought it was gonna be peated. :p

Tap.Muddy brown colour with small head.Aroma of x-mas cakes and spices,brown sugar and caramel,nice warming with full body,well balanced and sweet finish with strong hidden alc.

0.75l bottle. Brown body with a light brown head. Caramel dominates with notes of toast, biscuit, cloves, orange zest, pepper and even some chocolate and vinous notes. The finish has some floral hops to it. Very nice.
