First beer in town. Jay being friendly & chatting the bartender/owner up. Rich, slightly oily, brown on black half pour. Cocoa & rich coffee nose, almond. Some local brand, I forgot. Acidic, fruit driven coffee, toast, bittersweet char on the tail, missing that next note. Some body, frothy, lots of caffeine. Good.
