Bottle. Black with small tan head. Aroma has roasted malt, coffee. Sweet flavour, coffee and licorice, hard roasted malt. Finishes quite bitter with lingering coffee and licorice notes.

Draft sample @ Haand fest ’16, Drammen. Shared with the Norwegian tasting crew. Brune foncée, presque noire, col épais foncé café au lait. Arôme au nez malté, plein de grillé, café et espresso, touche de lactose avec une fine douceur rétro? Palais est malté, épais, caramel, café avec une pointe de grillé, petite douceur de toffee, espresso, fine amertume houblonnée mais aussi léger choco amer, réchauffant au palais accompagné d’une petite pointe épicée.

[5/15/16] Bottle at Himmeriget in Copenhagen. Black with a tan head. Roasty and slightly boozy aroma with coffee, dark chocolate, some licorice, and burnt notes. Sweetish flavor with roast, chocolate, caramel, a bit of licorice, coffee, and a bitter finish. Full-bodied, thick. Great stuff.

Draught at KØ16. Mild roasted aroma. Black colour. Small stable light brown head. The flavour is very roasted, nicely creamy with a rough bitterness and a floral hoppiness. Smokey finish.

Bottle@Taphouse Tuesday Bottle Share, Copenhagen - Black pour with tanned head. Roasted malty with notes of caramel, chocolate, coffee, some burnt malty nuances, ashy and charred earthy notes, great mouthfeel, lovely brew.

33 cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma is dark malty, roasted, slight chalky. Dark roasted malty, chocolate and breadish. Lingering rich malty, chocolate and dark roasted.
