Can: Poured a light yellowish perry with a big bubbly white head with limited retention. Aroma of light sweet pear is very intriguing. Taste is quite light with some sweetness and very reminiscent of an apple cider. I’m glad I finally got to taste my first perry and was expecting to be sweeter then this.

Sample at Black Forest Brau Keller in Frankenmuth. Clear off-yellow color with a nil white head and minimal lacing. Looks damn close to a glass of water actually. Light pear aroma. Light-bodied with a fruity character, and tastes more like a pear fruit drink than a Cider. The finish is fruity and short. Tastes alright but I am not sure what the point is here.

On draught @ Redbones January 2005. Weak yellow, no head. Faint aroma of sweet peaches and pears. Initial taste is of cheap chardonnay. Sweetness, alcohol, slight cheese flavors. Yikes. I had just a 4oz sample and didnt even finish it. Mostly watery, moderate to low carbonation, not much going on here besides cheap candied fruit and alcohol.
