King Julius is an American Double IPA brewed to be an exceptionally flavorful, juicy, and hop saturated beer without rough edges or abrasiveness. Its vivid citrus aromas give way to flavors of orange creamsicle, mango smoothie, and a bounty of fresh tropical fruit. We find it to be refined and delicate amid an onslaught of flavor. Originally brewed in 2012, King Julius is our endeavor to marry our past with what we aspire to be in the future.

Cloudy orange beige beer, big creamy bit irregular off-white head, unstable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: lovely, super dank, juicy, sweaty feet, onions, very strong hops, lovely! MF: ok carbon, medium body, creamy texture. Taste: a bit sweet, very dank, tropical fruits, juicy, more tropical fruits, some mango, bitter, resinous, hoppy. Aftertaste: resinous hops, some grapefruit, grassy bitterness, a bit resinous, very dank, lovely beer!

On tap at Sandwich brewery. Juicy tropical fruit aroma. Flavor is sweet peach, pineapple, papaya and tangerine. Quite tasty. Slightly bitter finish. Just amazing!

Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich mango, pineapple, fruits, citrus, hops and malt.

Medium orange-brown body, thin to medium off-white head. Aroma a tad wanting, mostly citrus and pineapple. Body is luscious, creamy, and doughy, with orange marmalade, sweet breads, guava, passionfruit, and Cadbury Creme Egg filling. Some pine needles and bubblegum in the finish. Remarkable integration. This is a gem.

Can shared in London. Cheers to Dave. Pours murky gold with a small, creamy white head. Lightly sweet, bit of aggressive, chalky bitterness, orange peel, a few oats. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Astringent finish, chalky, more citrus peel, pine needles. Not great.

Can shared at the Columbus tasting 31/08/2022. Many thanks to Wingman. A hazed bright golden yellow coloured pour with a sticky loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, dank, woody pencil shaving, grass, wheaty grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, dry wheat grains, woody dank, bitter, prickly, little chalky finish, alcohol finish. Palate is dry, chalky, prickly carbonation. ok.
