King Julius is an American Double IPA brewed to be an exceptionally flavorful, juicy, and hop saturated beer without rough edges or abrasiveness. Its vivid citrus aromas give way to flavors of orange creamsicle, mango smoothie, and a bounty of fresh tropical fruit. We find it to be refined and delicate amid an onslaught of flavor. Originally brewed in 2012, King Julius is our endeavor to marry our past with what we aspire to be in the future.

Rocky white head on an opaque vivid gold coloured body. Pineapple & orange aroma. Medium to full bodied, super smooth with a cloying back. Orange, mango, pine, resin & peach tastes. This just bends together so well. First Class.

473ml can. Pours a murky golden orange with a dense white head, a long-lasting one too. Aroma of tropical fruits, orange creamsicle, melon. Taste of very juicy tropical fruits, mango, papaya, melon, orange creamsicle, grapefruit, finish is a little dank weedy, mild peppery spice, pithy citrus bitterness. Full bodied, creamy, smooth. An exceptional DIPA which I feel, surprisingly, about lives up to the megahype.

16 oz can from Tree House, Charlton, 3/22/22. Canned 3/10/22. Fully hazed yellowish-orange color, off-white head, strong lace. Juicy mango-peach flavor, some orange and apricot. Creamy and fairly thick on the feel. ABV is noticeable, but not overwhelming. Big, flavorful, and well done.
