A deep brown in color and slight sweet caramel aroma. This ale is lighter in body than a porter/stout and milder in flavor. The flavor balance between malt and hop leans more towards the hop side at colder temperatures. When enjoyed at the style’s intended temperature of 50-55 degrees F the balance tips more towards the caramel malt.

Big dose of dish detergent infection here. Pours brown without much head. That chemical acridness sticks with you--very cloying. Tap at brewery.
