Triple tasting of Deadline variants, 12oz can from Tavour. Near black pour with fine bubbly ring. Blackberry aroma, jam, some boozy notes at the back. Taste is fruity and sweet, roast malts coming behind with a little bitterness, then alcohol warmth. Smooth, lingering heat on the palate.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a decent and persisting creamy tan head. Aroma is very blackberry. Near full bodied. Not dry, but not at all sticky. Blackberry bitter. There's toasted/burnt malt, lots of blackberry, some brandy notes, and even hints of yeast/spice. Elegant and tasty.
