A Pale Ale brewed on a rustic malt base of Maris Otter and unpeeled spelt, fermented exclusively with Brettanomyces bruxellensis for a subtle hint of pineapple funk and earthy depth. With Nectaron hops from New Zealand, this beer bursts with juicy notes of passion fruit, peach and a hint of grapefruit zest.

Op tap bij Lokaal Duinoord. Mistig goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Licht funky, ananas, medium zoet, licht zuurtje, licht moutig, iets te zoet-fruitig voor mij in smaak, de Brett mag nog even doorwerken. Lichte body.

Tap at Lokaal Duinoord. Bit hazy yellow. Spir lemon, Bretty pineapple, funky, sweet malts, sweaty, guava. Medium sweet, less sour, light bitter. Medium bodied. Meh.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 30.11.2025) im 2025-03 getrunken. Dieses hellorange Ale kommt mit einer feinen Anteilen an Säure, Hopfenbitterkeit und Farmhouse Aromen daher. Sehr stimmig und mit einem festen Körper, der die Aromen mit nur <6% tragen kann. Schönes Ale!

Slow gushing to huge, white head over hazy yellow beer. Bretts jumping out of the glass, floormop variety, pickles, Polish vegetable preserves. Again Bretts & pickled vegetables. Not much else, maybe some pineapple, bit pharmaceutical. Light body, very well-carbonated, slick but fresh seen the acidity. Too bad for the Nectarons, but they are inconspicous. If you base your beer on the Bretts only, it often turns out pretty empty. As is here the case.

On tap at the Two Chefs Taproom. Pours murky pale yellow with a white head. Tons of Brett and cracker malts on the nose. Flavour has a nice Brett expression, citrus peels, gentle dry grass. Very nice.
