Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a slightly hazy orange-amber color with a medium thin ivory white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Smoky aroma with hop and malt in the background. Medium body with flavors of smoked malt, earthy malt and fruit. The finish is smoky with a mildly hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
