This hoppy pale bier is a hybrid that falls somewhere near an IPA yet sits comfortably next to a Belgian Saison. Very much a blend between traditional and contemporary styles. A dry beer that has a light, wheaty base that is stupidly refreshing, dry hopped with Hallertau Blanc and Galaxy hops that offer notes of grapefruit, lemongrass, peach and tangy citrus.

Can on 47192 on the ECVR, picked up from the bottle shop on Newcastle station, 06/06/2025.
Moderately hazed golden orange topped with a white cap formed of thinly knit bubbles.
Nose is straw, herb, lemon rind, yeast esters, toasted grains.
Taste comprises yeast esters, light white peppery spice, lemon drizzle, hedgerow, floral whisper.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest spattering of hops.
Not bad.
