What happens when the darkness plays? Murky Mischief is a stout so darkly seductive that it should almost be illegal.
With mischievous charm and a taste that dances between roasted malt and something forbidden, it's like a prank you can't resist.
Perfect for those who dare to dive into the mists of darkness - and cause a little trouble along the way. Cheers, you rascal!

Can 33 cl. Pours thick and jet black leaving just a tiny, rough brownish head. Fatty curtains in the glass. Sweet roast and vanilla aroma with distinct Bourbon notes in the nose. Rich, sweet, roasty body with a lowish carbonation and again heavy Bourbon notes. The barrel aging is slightly fusty and not completely clean, but in no way horrible. Burning alcohol finish. 020925

Can from Havnens Vin Og Tobak. Pours opaque black with medium dark brown head. Aroma is mild with notes of roasted malt, caramel, roasted hazelnuts, vanilla, and chocolate. Taste is very sweet, medium to very bitter, faint acidic, light to medium salty and light umami. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and bitter with intense notes of roasted malt, caramel, toffee, hazelnuts, vanilla, cream, chocolate, and hints of cherries and port wine.
Aroma is very mild and rather boring, but the taste and finish is amazing.
