Draft pour at Roses By the Stairs, PHX. Dark and dense midnight black pour, dark brown loose foam head. Lots of cocoa, huge roast, steady dose of vanilla, equal parts dry oak and whiskey. Very layered imperial stout. Complex and ultimately interesting. Long lasting toasty caramel and chocolate flavors with the whiskey note hanging on the longest. Very impressive brew here. Love this one.
