It’s no secret that we’re fond of our hops at Amager Bryghus. And we use a shitload of them. Our head brewer Jacob thoroughly examines every email he receives from our hop suppliers. And messages containing news of new hop varieties or experimental hop releases sends him into a Zen like state of mind or, you might even say, borderline aroused. Over the years Jacob has tried hundreds of hop combinations, but making up new ones never seems to tire him out. Quite the contrary. Heavenly Hops is a series of new beers containing hops or hop combinations we have rarely or never used before, or experimental hops that haven’t even got a proper name yet. And no, we won’t use the same base beer for all of them, creating a tedious line of Pale Ales or whatever. The beers will naturally all be within the spectrum of hoppy beer styles, but different styles and strengths, that is. To us, hops are almost divine. We hope you’ll enjoy this beer series, Jacob’s tribute to the heavenly hops.

Smell- weak hops, weak fruits.
Foam- thin hops, bitter tones, weak fruits. Head is medium to large, white in color. Sticks.
Appearance- cool looking can, as usual, has a story, I like it. Clear yellow in color, medium carbonation.
From - pint
Taste - weak hops, weak bitter tones, more ipa than hazy ipa, but overall ok. Bitter and hoppy aftertaste.

Can. A cloudy golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of spices, citrus fruits, herbs, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruits, hops, spices, malt, and a bit of caramel, leading to a bitter finish. 8/2/8/3/16

Slightly hazy to cloudy yellow, white creamy head
Aroma is traditionally citrussy hoppy with clear herbal hoppy bitter notes like pine and grapefruit. As an old-fashioned dude, this aroma really clicks. Ipa like I the way back when dates. Flavor is super easy drinking, not bitter at all but with somr notes from the citrussy hops. Feels a bit watery.. sessionable 6.0 % er , but you can get more flavor at less volts with many many other beers.
Suitable perhaps at a metallica concert where you would not like the music to be distracted by the beer
The beer is crisp and easy drinking for sure.

0.44l can. Aroma of passion fruit, citrus, flowers and papaya. Pours cloudy pale golden color with medium sized soapy white head and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and unripe tropical fruity, following is mild sweet grainy and herbal, mouthfeel is rather dry, while finish is pretty bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. I don’t see far away after drinking it.
