The 2024 iteration of The Barrel Masters Series has filled White Peak Distillery whiskey casks with our flagship Imperial Stout and left them to mature for a painstaking 2 years. The glorious results begin with a heady aroma of peat and flaming Christmas pudding. On the palate, dark chocolate, vanilla and dried cherries combine for a decadent experience to savour with loved ones.

Sample thanks oh6gdx! Black, rich head. Aroma of cinnamon, cherry brandy, oak and licorice. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Cherries, red wine, tar pastilles, oak, licorice, chocolate and coffee. Mellow. Warming. Rich.

Boxton Alekhine 2024 Barrel Masters. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is chocolaty, nutty and some yeasty and mild toasted toffee with mild peat too. Flavour is mild peated toasted tones with chocolate, some nuts, mild dried fruits as well as some not-too-sweet plum pudding. Big and bold. Nice smoky/toasted aftertaste with quite sweet tones too.
