Roasted chocolate aroma. Bittersweet roasted malt up front with notes of chocolate milk, espresso roast, rich caramel and soy. Vanilla and wood flavors linger.

Taster pour on tap at Mass Brewfest. Inky, thick, opaque black, ring of light brown head. Aroma is bourbon and oak over base stout. Taste is strong earthy, peaty malt, mild bourbon. Smooth, dry texture, full body, average carbonation. Barrel is restrained.
