We’ve used Simcoe exclusively from Carpenter Ranches, a family farm based in Granger in the Yakima Valley, and their crop has given this soft, light pale ale a breadth of beautiful pine, tropical and citrus character.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear gold beer, small bubbly off white head. Light palate, thin mouthfeel, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied pale malts, a modest sweetness, whisper of grain. Modern Simcoe brings that mildly floral mandarin tangerine thing with just a whisper of pineapple here. Crisp cooling pine runs throughout. Finishes light and dry with a pinch of hop spice. Overall, not Tracks finest. The palate is too thin and too dry for my taste. The Simcoe delivery is decent but, Track can and do do better.
