Steeped in tradition, yet ready for anything—that pretty much sums up our Southern Gothic Unfiltered Pils. This hop-forward but light-bodied pilsner is crisp and drinkable, perfect for an afternoon on the porch or a night down at the pub. We left it unfiltered and raw to bring out its complexity and add a depth of flavor.

Can. Light lemon, milk, barley malt, and hay aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head and effervescence. Mildly sweet lemon, creamy barley malt, and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Nice body. A solid Pils.

Another no-frills pils (heh), hitting just the right balance between bready yeast, cracker malt, apple-lemon notes, and floral hops to make it both incredibly drinkable and instantly forgettable. Grass and crackers lead to a mild bitter finish and a Wonderbread fade. A well-made pilsner, but nothing remarkable. Gentle carbonation borders on being too soft. Worth a pint.

Tap at SNNC. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Grainy aroma with some lemonade fruityness. Light-bodied. Grainy, citrusy flavour. Traditional unfiltered pils elements are there but quite fruity and a bit sweet.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a glowing, cloudy straw with a finger of foam that lingers. Grassy nose with some light lemon and grain notes. Bright and crisp on the palate. Good leafy bitterness on the finish with some lingering peppery hops. Nice unfiltered pils.
