Steeped in tradition, yet ready for anything—that pretty much sums up our Southern Gothic Unfiltered Pils. This hop-forward but light-bodied pilsner is crisp and drinkable, perfect for an afternoon on the porch or a night down at the pub. We left it unfiltered and raw to bring out its complexity and add a depth of flavor.

Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. It pours lightly hazy yellow with a white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, quite fresh, bready malts, wood and hay. The taste is crisp, dry, grassy, straw, hay, touch of marshmallow, wood, earth, soda water and wet leaves with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Well rounded and easy drinking. Not bad.

Bottle from Bruisin Ales. Pours perry color with a slight white head. Aroma is pale malt with some light, perhaps hallertau, hop. Med body, almost. Flavor is light malt, mild hallertau spice, and something like pale stone fruit. This is very far off the predictable flavor path. It's really good stuff. Sort of a mildly fruity pilsner. Or something like that. Liking it.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is a clean creamy malt with some yeast and bittering hops. Flavor is some chewy lager malt with a decent hop bitterness. Not a typical pils but this was a nice rich, hoppy lager.

Looks like yellow pee. Love the aroma. Smells like an American pils. That is delicious. It has this sharp spicy flavor from start to finish, the malt is chewy and a good pine and European hop variety
