Can from JRs. Pour is hazy pale fer sher. Rubbery nose. Same with taste, its kinda rubbery and floral at the same time. Yes, typical IPA, simply bitter bullshit. Rubbery finish too. What else can be said, its just another ubiquitous one of a million american IPA, there you have it.

Pint can from TWSP. Pours murky gold with a soft offwhite head. Pineapple, resin, orange peel nose. Flavor is resin, dish soap, orange peel, green grass.

Rich hazy golden and peach coloured body with an orange glow and a very thick, three centimetre tall slightly off-white head. Aroma of super bitter grass, hay, funk, brett, resin, grapefruit and sweaty gym socks - odd! Medium-bodied; Deep resinous and funky malts show at first with nuts, earth, medicinal and very flavourful astringent qualities with a deep bitterness, a lot of stronger sweetness from fruits and ending with a deep and piney flavour which dominates up front, but shows through, especially at the end. Aftertaste shows the robust bitterness of the astringent hops with the hay, grass and resin way up front, but also from the funky and pungent grainy malt are more noticeable with only a touch of fruit sweetness on the tail end. Overall, a super deep and pungent beer that doesn't work out so well, as the malt is more bitter and astringent than the hops, but there is no balance here or relief - this is much too strong flavours throughout. Especially nice to sample at this price point in the city, but not a good beer, even at the cheap prices! I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 20-May-2019 for US$1,49 (yes, only that much!) sampled at home in Washington just a single day later on 21-May-2019.

Pours hazy gold. Aroma of mosaic hops. Taste is hoppy with a malt backbone. Palate of tropical fruits and malt. Hazy.

Hops here are played out like P Diddy, even considering the name change. Hazy orange pour with good head and lacing. Dusty light resin in finish. Another misfire here. Tap at Yard house DC.
