Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear mahogany colour, small head. Acidic smokey nose. Tart with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Infectious acidity under the pleasant smoked charcuteries. Citric mid bitter finish.

Thanks fonefan! Copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, some dried fruits, mild acidic and some smoked tones to it. Flavour is slightly acidic fruitiness with some wood and mild smoked tones. Feels like something unexpected has happened in fermentation.

Deutlich rauchiger Beginn, leider bei eher schwachem Körper. Dezente Säure, wenig holzig, herb. Während die Rauchigkeit stark bleibt ist der wässrige Hintergrund störend. Kurzer Abgang. 11/9/7/6//7

A very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of intense smoked dark malt, caramel, bacon, bread, tobacco. Taste of dark smoked malt, bacon, caramel, bread. Quite nice.
